Featuring two progressive tracks for dancers of all levels.
Whether you're just discovering Zouk or refining your craft, this journey is designed to
elevate your technique, musicality, and connection.

Led by the dynamic team from Dallas Zouk — Renato, Tamara, and Joao — and joined by special guest Jules Bertrand, the pioneer who first brought Zouk to DBF over a decade ago, this series is more than just a workshop. It’s a celebration of movement, artistry, and community.

From foundational flow to advanced styling and head motion, you’ll learn step by step in a supportive,
high-energy environment. Come dance, grow, and fall in love with Zouk — one beat at a time.

• Boomerang + Variation
• Lateral + Simple Turn + Yoyo
• Embrace • Posture • Basic Step (on the spot, forward/back, Soltinho direction change)
Level 1 – Part B
• Boom Chacha + Changing Place
• When to Apply Active Head Motion (Boomerang, Yoyo & Hammer Lock)
• Keeping the Lines in Laterals, Yoyos & Simple Turns
Level 1 – Part C
• Boomerang Variations (with & without styling)
• Intro to Head Movement within Foundation
• Body Technique: Using the Hips to Drive Head Motions
Level 2 – Part A
• Weight Shifting on Sopt & Body Lead Concepts
Level 2 – Part B
• Balão Apagado + Chicote
• Circular Hip Movement
• Creating the “Falling Lantern” Motion
Level 2 – Part C
• Left-to-Right Boomerang + Hammer Lock
• Opposite-Side Boomerang into Walk & Hammer Lock (with & without head motion)
Level 2 – Part D
• Use Off-beat and Isolations with BZouk
Level 2 – Part E
• Lateral Variation + Mergulho
